YOUR INFORMATION, HANDLED WITH CARE
Privacy & cookies.
How we use your information when you get in touch or visit this website.
Who we are
JENVA is the virtual assistant business of Jeanette Gleave, based in Standish, Wigan. For questions about your information, email jen@jenva.co.uk or call 07471 538308.
When you contact us
The enquiry form asks for your name, email address and message. You can also provide your business name, telephone number and the package you are interested in. We use this information to answer your enquiry, discuss your requirements and, where appropriate, take steps towards providing services you have requested.
Our lawful basis for responding to enquiries is our legitimate interest in running the business and answering requests, or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract where applicable. The form’s privacy checkbox acknowledges this notice; it does not subscribe you to marketing.
Website operation and security
The hosting service may record technical information such as IP addresses, requested pages, timestamps and browser information to operate and protect the site. The form uses temporary, hashed address records and timestamps to limit repeated submissions. These records do not contain your enquiry message.
A necessary session cookie is used on the contact page to protect the enquiry form and show its submission status. It expires when your browser session ends. This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies.
Who receives your information
Enquiries are sent to the JENVA business inbox. Website hosting, email providers and authorised technical support may process information where needed to run these services. We do not sell your enquiry information.
Font Awesome supplies the website’s icons through an external script. Loading it makes a connection to its service and may share technical request information such as your IP address. See Font Awesome’s privacy policy for information about its processing and any international transfers. Website fonts and photographs are hosted with this website.
How long information is kept
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as it is needed to respond, follow up on your request and deal with any related questions. Where you become a client, relevant records form part of the service relationship and are retained where needed for contractual, accounting or legal obligations. You can ask us about the retention of your particular information using the contact details above.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access your personal information, correct it, request its deletion, restrict its use, object to processing or receive certain information in a portable format. Contact Jen to make a request. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Client work
This notice concerns the website and initial enquiries. Where we handle information on your behalf as part of agreed virtual assistant services, the responsibilities and arrangements will be covered in the relevant service agreement.
